For our upcoming Lunch and Learn. Brenda Meeker will present on Favoring Feedback: Embracing Conversations to Move us Forward. We will meet at Heartland Acres Event Center on November 8th from 11am-1pm.

When you think of feedback, do you compare it to the terrible sound coming out of a speaker that we hope to avoid and want to make stop as soon as possible? What if the feedback we receive is more like story or song that we want to hear and turns into one of the best things we get to listen to? During the session, we will explore our mindset about feedback and practices that can enable feedback.

Brenda Meeker is an active community volunteer in Cedar Rapids. She currently serves as a Leadership for Five Seasons (Class of 2022) Advisory Board member and volunteers as an English tutor with the Catherine McAuley Center. Brenda earned her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and an MBA from Drake University in Des Moines.
