August Events in Buchanan County!

August 17th

Independence – Did you know that Independence has an underground city?  Take this once a year opportunity to see the Underground Independence from 10am – 2 pm.  Go to the Wapsipinicon Mill for a walking tour guide!

August 24th

Independence – Two great events combine into one great day!  Start your day with the annual RASH Ride  starting at 9am!  What better way to see Buchanan County but by bike!  Click HERE for more details.  After the RASH Ride head over to the Independence Brew-B-Q starting at Noon for the best BBQ and Craft Beers around!  For a full schedule of events click HERE!

Quasqueton –  August 24th

End your evening on the 24th with some of the best fish around at the Annual Quasqueton Area Historical Society Fish Fry from 5-7pm downtown Quasqueton.  Rain or Shine!
