Free Land for Housing Available in Aurora!

The City of Aurora is giving away approximately 1.3 acres of land to build residential housing on the property. The property is located at the intersection of Slater Avenue and Prospect Street and is served by all utilities. The city will consider proposals to construct single-family or multi-family housing.

Proposals are to be submitted to the City of Aurora by 12 Noon on Monday, June 4, 2019 to be considered at the June 11th City Council meeting.  Once property has been transferred, dwelling(s) shall be fully completed and on the tax rolls within one and one-half (1 ½) years from the date of acceptance or the lot owner will pay a penalty of 1.5% of the appraised value of the lots per month to the City of Aurora.
